Punjabi Garam Masala
A cool season spice blend from Northern India, Garam Masala comes in as many variations as there are family chefs.
For our Punjabi Garam Masala we roast, grind and hand-mix some of India’s most valued spices (including bay leaves) to create an aromatic masala, tasting rich and warm without being spicy hot. It works well in dhal soups, rice and vegetable dishes. Typically Garam Masala is stirred into a dish towards the end of cooking to preserve the aromas, but feel free to add it in the beginning for a braise or simmer to let the flavours bloom slowly.
